Express The Un-Expressionable
I have had 3 mintues to write something having spent the lunchtime talking when I should have been writing. Hence this quick introduction!
The following is inspired by my father's wisdom and recent troubles in the family.
Thorns
Organic teeth lodged beneath the skin
Pierce muscle,
scrape to and through bone.
Father taught me
Pull hard, pull slow, pull fast
Pull them out
never let them rest.
The Immortal
A doodle on the everlasting demon, which despite being staked from time to time just keeps on getting back up.
Fear
A maiden is heroin.
Approval hooked under the skin
and through the eyes
Something tugs in anticipation.
Powdered lines lace the air
rise the belly to tangle words
project them like ping pong balls
into a glass box.
Humbled to a fool
the face has become the back.
The Devil's Hook
I am not alone in my office this week, hence the lack of updates. It is a little difficult to write when you aren't the only one in the room as there are distractions, but always up for a challenge I thought I would have a go this lunchtime.
The following is simply an exercise. Start a line with "a" and start the second line with "c" and continue onwards until the last line.
