Family Reunion

The night was cold but the long hard stare from Lucy across the room was even colder. Kyle had learnt the hard way time meant very little to a woman, five years down the line and Lucy would still like to see his head on a plate garnished with a nice side salad and bastard carved into his forehead.

And that would have been if she had been feeling generous.

At least she had stopped the abusive phone calls. Still maybe it was not unreasonable, finding your husband in bed with your brother was never going to go down well.

Comfortable Seat

Many have come and many have gone but none quite like Norman Sackfield stuck around in places where you would be hard pressed to find a doughnut and cup of coffee but then Norman was passionate about his job.

It had its ups and downs but then that was grave digging for you. The only places you could sit would give you piles and a thermal flask was as good as it got apart from maybe the peace and quiet, macabre as it was, and the fact none of the customers moaned about the lack of cushions in their coffins.

Cluedo

The truth about the truth was it was a lie. This is what got Mr Black killed in the library with the revolver by Colonel Mustard, at least this is what Miss Scarlet would like you to believe.

You see murder, the perfect murder, is not about a lie but a truth hidden away where no one can find it, and that is what got Mr Black killed in the study with the rope by Reverend Green, at least that is what Miss Scarlet would like you to believe.

While Mr Black could not care less in the sunny Bahamas.

Neighbours

Candy dynamite was banned but that did not stop Marvin the dwarf from assassinating his neighbours with a stick planted in a sausage roll at their “appreciate your neighbours” barbecue.

Truth was it had been a mistake despite the pretty lights and insurance payout for Marvins pet iguana who got caught in the blast and was noted to be the first iguana to land on the moon. Only now Marvin had a bomb crater for a neighbour who was dull and boring to the point Marvin had the overwhelming urge to fill him in.

Maybe he was becoming a psychopath.
