I am out of time for lunch so this is a quick doddle partly inspired by seeing large icicles as a kid, frozen canals and the ice in peoples eyes as a mechanism of self defence against their demons.

Ice

Unsheafed daggers hang like
sharks teeth.
Frozen pools as deep as skull sockets
Ice becomes the preservative,
the killer of men.
