Lost Distance Running
I have sat for 10 minutes or so trying to figure out something to write, so I have opted for a doodle. It's partly inspired by the relucuant workaholic who gets an airing from within me from time to time.
A Hamster Finds Ignorance
Round the rungs like a train on a railway track.
A relentless run.
Feet raked with every rabid breath,
restless legs forget the raw skin
Keep on the rails
Never look back.
One Less Candle
It was my Dad's birthday yesterday. Birthdays never do mean a lot to me; a legacy given to me by my mother. However, it is a reminder that like an engine, we all have only so far to run.
Dad in recent years has had his birthdays in random orders, at 65 he was 50, 70 he was 60 and at time hes has been 40 at varies ages. I always thought this was an old folks view point since the end of the road is something which becomes realistic on a day by day basis more so than when you are young.
The Qualification of Ignorance
I have little time for professionals. We have turned into a world where paper and titles rule to the point so called educated people think it gives them a greater knowledge of something better than the ordinary man, yet they fail to listen and understand. They are blind but proclaim they see the truth.
Some things you cannot get with a qualification but it can be a great way of confirming your ignorance for all to see.
Ignorance which at the moment is being perfectly displayed by the system when it comes to my nephews, which supposedly is meant to look after their interests.
