Half
Half way in at Catherine De Barnes and I feel good. Do I take on some water? Or do I wait? I decide to wait until I hit 20 miles figuring although I am still sweating I am not in danger of dehydrating.
I turn round take a photo from the direction I have come knowing the next section of the canal path is very rough and slow.
I have an old injury to my right hand / knuckle and I hope the roughness of the path does not set it off - the last time it flared cycling I could have happily cut my little finger and knuckle off with a hacksaw to be free of the pain.
I hope the 300 grip exercises I have been doing daily pay off and I move on, uncharted territory is not far away.
