I hope one day my nephews have the courage to rip their fathers head off and fly free from his bitter and twisted control freak nature like their mother and see him for who he really is - an uncaring twisted bastard.

This is an on going annoyance that some people see children as weapons to use against their partner, never even thinking or caring on the consequences they are instilling into their children as well as an admiration for those who break free from emotionally abusive partners.

The Snake

Tight the muscles clench
forge iron between the scales

ripple scorn and dig hate into the earth,
throw sheets of dust with salesmans smiles.

Once caught, now found free
a little brown bird has become an eagle

while you writhe in the dirt,
oblivious to her beak and claws.
