Weight
I had to cycle to Aston Junction, the point of the start of my trip and by the time I got there I was sweating. At 5.63 miles I realised the backpack was considerably heavier than I had anticipated and it had the effect of reducing my speed.
The waterproofs I was wearing were also not helping and the sweat rolled down my forehead while I laboured open mouthed. I figured I was just getting warmed up, once I adjusted to the weight and if I held more or less a steady speed of 10mph I would be okay.
I took a few quick photos, paused, looked at the path in front of me and started off again eager to get the bit between my teeth.
